I. The overview of ENTJ enneagram

When it comes to these personality types' great qualities, ENTJs are self-assured and enthusiastic. They not only believe in themselves, but they believe in themselves with revolutionary zeal and devotion. They are efficient and strong-willed, which gives them an extra push to achieve their goals and thus impress their followers.

ENTJs have such a significant affinity for the Enneagram types 8 and 3. Both extroverted thinking and the 8 type are defined by a strong desire to influence one's external environment in a way that benefits the user directly. Both extroverted thinking and the 3 type are characterized by a high level of ambition and personal success.

Note: The ENTJ personality type is commonly associated with the following enneagram types:

  • ENTJ Enneagram Type 3

  • ENTJ Enneagram Type 8

II. The ENTJ Enneagram with 9 Types

1. ENTJ Enneagram type 1

Enneagram 1 linked with ENTJ's Te-Ni makes them a reformer type; they have a flawless vision (Ni) of how things should be, know the proper way to do things, and are able to put a realistic action plan in place to attain this objective (Te). They are self-critical and achievement-driven.

ENTJ Enneagram type 1 people are efficient and organized, with a strong and sometimes unrealistic “perfect” vision of what they want to achieve in the real world through work or school, etc., and are more than interested in taking decisive action to make it happen, but may blame others if perfection is not attained (due to low Fi / 1s tendency to refuse to take responsibility when things go wrong).

Prone to strong moral beliefs, and may push away from tert-Se impulses for pleasure, new experiences, and so on, leaving the ENTJ feeling unbalanced, unhappy that their morals keep them from having fun, or jealous of freer spirits.

The ENTJ Enneagram type 1 inferior Fi is more developed than in other ENTJs, giving them a strong moral compass and a rigorous sense of right and wrong (enneagram 1), but also a greater ability to communicate their emotions (wing 2). This ENTJ is more expressive emotionally than the normal ENTJ Enneagram type 1.

There are more 1w2 persons since the 2 wing makes them more proud, sensitive to outside criticism, and ready to help others, as well as increases their drive to please. They are not as blatantly hostile or furious as the ordinary ENTJ.

2. ENTJ Enneagram Type 2

Enneagram 2 is most typically associated with feeling/nurturing types, and therefore not commonly found among N-Ts. It's most commonly associated with extroverts who test as MBTI Feelers, so ESFJ, ESFP, ENFJ, and ENFP, and also quite common with introverts who test as MBTI Feelers. (ISFJ, ISFP, INFJ, INFP).

3. ENTJ Enneagram type 3

A significant proportion of the ENTJ population chose 3 as their Enneagram type (Type 3 with a 2 wing: 60 percent ; Type 3 with a 4 wing: 40 percent ). This is an obvious relationship given that this type is likewise strongly associated with the ENTJ's lead function of extroverted thinking.

Type 3 ENTJs are obsessive about long-term objectives and strategies. This type, like their type 8 counterparts, aspires to positions of power in whatever line of employment they undertake.

Unlike the type 8, the ENTJ Enneagram type 3 views power as a tool rather than an end in itself. They want to go to the top because they have a strong inner compass that tells them their self-worth is determined by their achievements.

This kind of ENTJ may rely on their introverted intuition more than their type 8 counterparts. Instead of using Ni merely to manipulate their circumstances, they will consult their auxiliary function to develop long-term plans and optimize their thoughts and plans. As a result, this personality type is most comparable to the INTJ.

ENTJ Enneagram type 3 people are continually migrating away from emotions of insignificance and worthlessness and toward achievement - whatever success is defined by the culture or society in which they inhabit.

Extroverted Thinking deconstructs a process into its logical components and evaluates for logical coherence.

Extroverted Thinking Threes are naturally drawn to positions of leadership, particularly those involving the administration of others. Many ENTJ Enneagram type 3 individuals desire the image.

One may also claim that extraverts are more concerned with their appearance than their introverted counterparts. Myers-Briggs judgment (J) may also contribute to achievement-seeking, however ENTJs and ESTJs appear to be equally or more likely to test as Enneagram Eights.

4. ENTJ enneagram type 4

The Enneagram and the MBTI are extremely compatible, and you are a type 4 which ENTJ Enneagram type 4 is pretty uncommon. Fi is only a function, whereas the enneagram represents a mental state. Fi is frequently connected with type four because persons who use Fi are more inclined to slip into specific patterns of behavior. But an ENTJ may be type four just as easily because behavioral patterns are impacted by a variety of factors (including environment, gender, and pretty much everything else the mbti doesn't cover).

5. ENTJ Enneagram type 5

Type 5s are recognized for their eagerness to learn. The observer in the ENTJ Enneagram type 5 has the basic fear of being worthless, powerless, or incompetent, and the underlying desire to be capable and competent.

The antisocial behavior might be caused by something other than the operational TeNi. Because the enneagram is based on our anxieties rather than our cognitive processes, it is conceivable to be a 5 and an ENTJ, although it is quite unusual. This is most likely an ENTJ with little social circles or a preference for exclusionary hobbies.

ETJs are pragmatic, realistic, determined, socially conscious, motivated, moralistic, and ready to make a difference.

6. ENTJ Enneagram type 6

An ENTJ Enneagram type 6 frequently creates their own system to feel safe, or distrusts authority other than their own; He/she uses Se to deal with problems as they occur, but has a negative outlook on life and always prepares for the worst; As a result, they may be indecisive and self-doubting, have inferior Fi issues of feeling anxious in their relationships, which combines with Ni ‘reservation'

7. ENTJ Enneagram type 7

Extroverted Thinking deconstructs a process into its logical components and evaluates for logical coherence.

As a result, ENTJ Enneagram type 7 enjoys toying with concepts in a rational manner. ExTJ Sevens may want to take on more of a "consultant" position, dropping in for a short amount of time to do things their way, and then moving on to their next enterprise.

People with the ENTJ Enneagram type 7 are upbeat and optimistic about the future, frequently working to realize a personal vision that will make the world a better place.

They are also prone to overindulgences through tert-Se, which when combined with 7 may make them restless and inclined to abandon projects or other people who have a more ‘dour' view of reality; additionally, they will find ways to re-frame reality to make them feel good about themselves, ignoring inferior Fi in the process. Good at innovating, yet often frustrated if their concept does not come to fruition.

8. ENTJ Enneagram type 8

A sizable proportion of ENTJs selected 8 as their Enneagram type (Type 8 with a 7 wing: 90 percent ; Type 8 with a 9 wing: 10 percent ). This association is not surprising given that the Enneagram type 8 is associated with the ENTJ's primary function of extroverted thinking.

Type 8 ENTJs are extremely ambitious and like being at the top of their game – but this mindset extends beyond the job. They will feel most at ease in positions of authority, not only at work but also in relationships and social situations. They are ready to demonstrate their authority and assert themselves at all times, making them a little more aggressive variation of the ENTJ personality.

Though this type exudes an intimidating aura – and they enjoy it that way – they are also generous and hardworking caregivers for those close to them. This personality type takes pleasure in their capacity to care for oneself and their loved ones on their own.

The type 8 ENTJ feels that their self-worth is based on their capacity to maintain control over their surroundings. They are continuously striving toward autonomy and away from any sense of being controlled or influenced from without.

Because their concentration is mostly on their extroverted thinking, the type 8 ENTJ personality is most comparable to the ESTJ personality.

This sort of enneagram, on the other hand, has difficulties with their emotions, particularly with emotion management. They are not at ease expressing their feelings to others, maybe because to fear - they do not want to be dominated or influenced by others. As a result, ENTJ Enneagram type 8 will not always communicate their feelings about someone or something and will keep their feelings to themselves.

9. ENTJ Enneagram type 9

In terms of peacemaking on a large scale, ENTJ Enneagram type 9 may channel their business mentality and future planning talents toward global or national objectives.

Their priorities would be immediate advantages as well as long-term success. Se function would make them more decisive and opportunistic, but also much more prone to avoid dealing with anything 9 does not want to deal with via excess.

Inferior Fi, like the ESTJ-9, would feel uneasy about their emotional capacity to connect with others, and would lack the ability to ‘read' people with Fe, whereas Ni would give more insight into others' actual motivations.
